Nanny's 90th Birthday Party

The girls and I rode home with my mom to spend the week in Jackson. We got to see lots of family and friends. Sweet baby Jackson and his parents came to visit. We spent one day with friend Stephanie and her girls at her parent's house. The girls loved playing together and Stephanie and I got to catch up on all the latest "gossip". Bo, Shae, Brinson, and baby Bealey came in to town and we got to meet Bealey for the first time. Ellie loved her! Pops and Lynndy took the kids to the train museum and for ice cream. Ellie and Maggie also loved playing with Uncle Ah Ah and Kristina (who Ellie says looks like Ariel). Friday night Grant got into town and then on Saturday we went to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday! It was a huge success and so much fun to see lots of family there and also so many of her friends come out to celebrate with her! She had a wonderful time and is still talking about it. She is amazing and looks super and is in super health. She doesn't take any medicine and still walks almost everyday and lives on her own! What a blessing. On the way home we stopped in Crossville to see our friends, the Bosankos and meet their newest edition, Vadyn, and see big brother, Kayne.

And Jesus.....

This is great! Ellie got her little Bible out and started reading it to Grant and Maggie. We learned some new things such as Jesus has a bear! Also, she mentions He has a wife (not sure where that came from). Also makes a reference to Dora when she says, "Swiper no swiping". We also learned that Jesus got a speeding ticket. Not sure how she learned about speeding tickets...Grant???? Anyway, she is learning so much at Pre-school and Sunday School. I believe at one point she mentions the cross and then tries to explain he had a Crown of Thorns on is head. You can also hear at one point Maggie sing "Old Ball Game"! Enjoy our little preacher.

Easter 2010

We had a wonderful Easter. Our church held their service at Lake Junaluska and it was beautiful! The girls had fun hunting Easter eggs as well. We also had Ellie's spring program for her pre-school that following week and she did great! Maggie is talking more and more. She calls Ellie "Sissy" and tries to do things Ellie does. She is definitely more of a dare devil than Ellie ever was or is. I asked Ellie if she would like to have a brother one day and she responded, "My sister, she's ENOUGH"! :)

Christmas 2009! (Five months late)

Yes, Christmas was five months ago and I am just now updating our blog! I think I have a good excuse, though! We spent Christmas in Jackson and for the third Christmas in a row we were at Urgent Care with Ellie. I am starting to think she is allergic to Christmas! We still had a good time and enjoyed seeing family and friends.
